IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION AND ADVICE

68th Three Peaks Race - Saturday 29th April 2023

Everyone attending the Three Peaks Race on Saturday 30th April 2022 (or on site during the event build up prior to race day) must be aware and comply with the following COVID advice:

 DO NOT ATTEND THE EVENT IF YOU ARE COVID SYMPTOMATIC OR POSITIVE or

o   Have a high temperature

o   New or continuous cough

o   Loss or change in sense of taste or smell

or

o   been in contact with anyone showing any signs of Covid-19 in the past 14 days

o   Been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace service.

o   Travelled within the last 14 days to an international location where self-isolation is required after your visit.

  • Self assess before attending the race and if in doubt do not attend.

  • Please bring a mask and your own sanitiser and keep them with you at all times .

  • Please consider wearing your mask when in the marquee or enclosed area.

  • Maintain one metre distance where possible when outdoors.

  • Try and be self sufficient: carry your own water and food where possible. During the race carry your own water container/cup to replenish with water at Ribblehead and Hill Inn checkpoints.

  • Mandatory safety kit will be required to be carried with you at all times during the race together with a mask and sanitiser should also be included.

  • Practise good personal hygiene at all times (including regular use of 70%+ alcohol hand sanitiser) - before arriving, at registration, when using toilets, when entering checkpoints, leaving checkpoints and within any marquee and handling anything.

  • If you develop COVID-19 symptoms and/or have a positive test within 72 hours of the event Inform the entries secretary and complete and submit the ‘UKA Health & Safety Covid Reporting’ form (https://www.mysporthost.com/HealthAndSafety/)
